Got Duplicate User Accounts - How to delete one?

I am running an applel’m Win 10 on my MacBook through Parallels Desktop. When I start the process, my user name goes on and tries to sign in automatically. However, it gets rejected so I tried to see what would be the issue. I got two profiles with the same username. I can log in to the original one but how do I delete the duplicate?!

Hello Roberts

you can remove user account from control panel
before removing account read the instruction given by microsoft
open the setting app
select the accounts options
click on family and other users
select the user and select remove

Hi @Roberts101

1.Press the Windows key + R to bring up the Run box. Type netplwiz and hit Enter

2.Check the “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” box to disable auto-login. If you want to set up auto-login again, uncheck that box and click OK to type the correct password.
Now, reboot your computer and the issue “Duplicate user names on Windows 10 login screen” should have been fixed.

right click This PC>Manage>local users and groups and you can modify your account from here

Jump to “User Accounts” section to remove or add any user account.
