We looking to get our New windows 10 machines activated using the KMS license. We already have a Microsoft Volume license subscription. Previous windows 7 machines would activate after imaging. When deploying Windows 10 I’ve just been using a MAK key since I’ve only had a handful of machines to get windows 10 due to repair/replacement.
Looking to replace 200 machines soon so We would like to get KMS activated. We are not familiar with KMS first off. When we tried to apply my KMS license to our licensing server that is running VAT it throws up an error either indicating the license isn’t activated or valid.
Some research might suggest that we need a new KMS host key? Would this key be applied to my current licensing server or could we setup VAT on a different server for the Windows10 machines? (Trying to avoid any issues with current VLS win7 machines).
