No doubt, AWS is better as it is oldest one and has lots of experience and bigger infrastructure.
As per “Gartner survey” it is No. 1 in cloud service providers.

To be honest it depends to your requirement.
Azure is much easier to use for the first timer but it struggles in the reliability area sometimes. I’ve lost control of servers before where they just would not respond, people have had a few issues on Azure.
Also the pricing for certain Azure items is fairly high when compared to everything else out there.
AWS is the world class leader for reliability, performance and scale. Azure is playing catch up all the time but you need more time to learn the platform and properly make use of it.
So the question comes down to, which tool do you prefer? Well that depends on the task at hand.
