Android Apps completely not working

Hi,

I have a Android phone all of sudden after a restart all of the apps gone rogue. Please see the below image I am not able open even the android built-in Apps.

Below troubleshooting steps i have tried so far:

  • Restarted several times

  • Factory Reset - Tried not working

  • Android root - phones hangs at fast boot

Android version: Android Pie 9

Any tips or helps appreciated

Thanks
Rafath

I assume that this is a Xiaomi device? If so, I’d try to download older version of MIUI for the device and try to install it through Xiaomi Flash software for desktop via cable data.

As this problem quite new and limited reports I’m assuming the latest update still in beta stage or not stable yet, possible strained frameworks while on reboot process.

Try to flash device with lower version of sdk

Hi @Winterfell10 Thanks for your reply,

This is a Redmi device when i connect the phone to the laptop nothing shows up. Because after connecting phone to the laptop i wasn’t able to change the USB setting in the phone. When i click anything the above error shows up

I tried and failed…

Hi @RafathR

Try to do the Hard Factory Reset

  1. Turn off your device by pressing Power button.
  2. Hold down Volume Up + Power key.
  3. Using Volume keys, select language and confirm with Power button.
  4. Select "Wipe & Reset ".
  5. Choose “Wipe All Data” option.
  6. Select “Yes”.
  7. Done!

Hi @Aravinth,

Thanks for the suggestions as I have mentioned before I already tried but the phone stuck on Fast Boot screen nothing more.

I present my only solution I think I had to take the phone to service center but for same reason I am not able to.

Then you shall flash it through the authorized service center, there’s no way to be done without debugging the USB, out of luck.
