I have brightness problem that is easy to grasp but very hard to fix. Namely, every time I change screen resolution on my Mac computer, changes go as planned – icons get larger, positions are as they should be, but brightness goes on full mode if I am using additional, external monitor. Brightness also goes full bar even if I am working normally after a while, which means that connection between monitors and my PC has a bug. What that might be and how do I fix it? It’s on iMac Catalina 10.15.1.
Hmm, might try to slide and drag the brightness level
Go to Apple logo bar > System Preferences, and then click Displays . 2 Click the Display tab. 3 Choose a resolution or color setting, or drag the Brightness slider to adjust the brightness
or simply just adjust manually from the external device, neither of which shall do it.
