Can’t use the same username and password for 4 installations on the same localhost

I have 4 installations on the same localhost, all with different names and established databases for each but I can’t use the same username and password for all sites since I get an error “‘Lars’@’localhost’ already exists”. Is it possible to have the same user and pass for all WP sites – in PhPMyAdmin, and for the WP login?

you can’t use the same user and password for multiple installations on the same localhost… use different ones
