CanoScan LiDE 300 not printing

Recently, I bought CanoScan LiDE 300 as it is supposed to be compatible with SANE . When plugging it in, it does not work. When I start the system, the scanner makes a movement, signalling me that it is active. I do lsusb and it shows up there. However, ‘sane-find-scanner’ locates the scanner but ‘scanimage -L’ gives me this message: “No scanners were identified.” Same happens with ‘xsane’ so I need a little help with this.

Try these methods.

  1. Turn off your Scanner.
  2. Unplug your USB cable.
  3. Uninstall the Scanner driver and follow the installation methods correctly and reinstall it
    (You may need to Power on your scanner and connect usb cable in separate time)

Can you run scanimage? So I can analayze the errors occurred

uninstall driver and soft and download it from official website and install it step by step. and restart your PC and scanner.
