I’ve 64bit Win10 laptop, and after I wiped it clean, because I wanted to start from the scratch, I can’t use Wi-Fi and sound drivers, and I’m not able to find them on the laptop. Is there a way to find them or reload them from the backup? Should I do it or there is some other way?
Hello @SamuelJZ
You can check it in device manager, as mentioned by you, that it seems that after windows 10 installation, sound card driver and Wi-Fi driver not installed, if you have internet connection with your LAN (Network)Card then you can download driver or update driver using Driver pack solution
here is the link of DPS or you can download from laptop’s company vender’s website

Hi @SamuelJZ
After the New windows 10 installation sometimes you have to install the WiFi and sound drivers.
- Connect your laptop with a LAN internet connection.
- Try to install these drivers via Driver Manager.
- If it not working : Driver Booster 10 Free: Official Free Driver Updater Tool for Windows 2023
download the driver booster and install. it will automatically scan your hardware and install the mission drivers.
Hi @SamuelJZ,
Windows 10 automatically download all the required driver through interested. You just need to give internet access to the device. Go to the device manager and select the WiFi adapter choose the option to Install the driver online.
If the device is not the custom made then I would refer to the manufacturer site to download the appropriate software for WiFi and sound card
