Clear purchase history from Microsoft Store

I wanted to clear purchase history from Microsoft Store but I only found the “Hide” option. I don’t use an account to sign in to it, nor do I use email to sign in to Windows 10. Whenever I format the PC and install Win10, the history automatically appears. Changed hard drives and the activation key for Windows, didn’t help. Is there any way to permanently delete the history?

Hi @MarcoGordon,

On every Windows 10 device, Microsoft keeps certain amount of data that will be linked to your device hardware and Microsoft account (Personal or Office). In your case, you should try to change two things one is Microsoft Account and your hardware.

Change the hardware:

You have tried to change the hard drive only but I think Microsoft finds out your activity through your motherboard details which you cannot remove from the Microsoft server which is a part of a digital license. No one ones how Microsoft handles the digital license to my knowledge they never made any comment on it.

Change the Microsoft Account:

You have also mentioned you didn’t use any Microsoft account in this PC. I suspect somewhere you have used it and Microsoft seems to have attached your device activity to your Microsoft account. Using this detail your activity seems to reappear.

Hello! There is no way to delete your purchase history from your account.
purchase history can not be deleted. It’s your private total record of downloads and purchases .
