Hi all! New to cloud computing, so I wanted advice on cloud-to-cloud networking. I am interested in available options regarding the low latency of cloud-to-cloud connectivity options. An example would be if I had an app running in AWS but reading and writing database in Azure. Apart from DirectConnect and ExpressRoute, what other options are available at the moment?

You can configure a site to site connection between Azure to AWS like you would do to Azure/AWS to on-premises VPN device. Please check this article for detail and step by step explanation How to VPN connect between Azure and AWS with Managed Services..

As @tjnihal adviced you can use Site-to-Site VPN. it is secure and encrypted way for your connection.
