Hello everyone. Can anyone help me with corrupted start menu? Many of my apps do not appear on the list when I open up a start menu. I can only run them through the store and I already tried doing many things to fix this (reset store, run Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers, shell:AppsFolder, and system reboot). Did anyone had this particular issues and how did you solve it?
Hello
You can try this
-
go to registry editor (type regedit in run window)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ ImmersiveShell\Launcher -
click edit and and create new DWORD(32-bit) value and name it UseExperience
-
double-click on value and set the value to 1 and then OK
and then restart your PC
Hi @13999,
First try to login with another user in the same PC which if the start menu is normal then the problem lies in user profile So, you need to delete the user profile in effected PC and try to recreate again I see most of the time user profile get cached data get corrupted.
