When i try to install the latest update, i am caught off guard by this error:
0x80070070 – 0x50012
I have tried to unplug my external hard drive, restart my pc and even wipe the internal drive, alas i still have the same issue.
Does somebody know the answer? Thanks.

Is it possible to screenshot the properties of C and D partition? there could be a hidden files that caused the insufficient storage error.
you have to increase your storage space in the windows installed drive. Eg : C drive
Download the application : Download CCleaner | Clean, optimize & tune up your PC, free!
it will scan your C drive and you can delete the unwanted things in your drive,
also you can delete Windows.old folder if you want.
start your windows in clear boot:
open run window and type msconfig, then go to services tap and disable all services except microsoft services, then go to startup and disable all applications.
and restart your PC and try to update
This error information corresponds to either low memory or a corrupted disk on the computer that you are installing OS on.
Before you decide to continue with installations please make sure there is enough memory or is not corrupt.
