I need help with greyed out start menu after I installed Creators update. First of all, I tried all possible fixes for my problem before I came here for help. I tried rebooting the PC, changed start menu settings, brightness, explorer.exe changes, and more. So far – no luck. Anyone has solution to my problem

I have found a workaround just now since I had the exact same problem.
Step 1:
Restart Windows Explorer
(open Task Manager and scroll down in the Processes Tab and go in to the System area and restart Windows Explorer
Step 2:
Unpin the affected item and all the items in the group you were going to move it to.
Step 3:
Pin back all the items and move the group… if that will work for you that is.

Did you try to start windows in safe mode,is there the same problem appears. If problem not found it means, problem must in your software and if the problem is same as it is normal windows then you will have to start windows clean boot.
