Hi,
I have a HP laptop its brightness button not working but audio but working.
Hi @CrazyFrog
Try these methods
- Press fn + Brigtness key
- By clicking on your battery icon to reveal the brightness adjustment tool.
- From the notification tool located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
- From system settings >> Display
Hi @Aravinth,
Thanks for the response.
I tried with fn+ Brightness keys + & - Both are not working but for the audio its working and I am using Windows 8.1 so no display option in the right corner of the screen
Go to Power setting s and see if there is brightness option
- Go to Device Manager
- Select Display adapters and scroll down.
- Right-click On adapter and select the Properties option.
- Go to the Drivers tab in the popup window.
- Push the Rollback Driver button. If Rollback Driver is greyed out, this means no earlier version is installed.
- Wait until it is done. The system should recover the brightness and the increase/decrease functions in the keyboard should work.
- If the previous step does not resolve the issue, upgrade Intel Video Driver to the latest.

Hi @CrazyFrog,
Try @zura1994 suggested steps. or try to update the graphic driver to the latest version if the rollback didn’t help.
