Hi,

You all are aware windows 10 has removed windows photo viewer and it comes with Photos which utilize more memory comparing to windows photo viewer.

So, I am interest to know is there a way to bring back windows photo viewer in windows 10?

You can bring back the windows photo viewer in windows 10. Just you need to edit the registry. Open notepad in your system and save the below code in .reg format and import them in your registry.

The registry code you need (highlight ALL of it) is:

there is 2 registry files to activate and deactivate photo viewer https://www.howtogeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Activate-Windows-Photo-Viewer-on-Windows-10.zip download and run activate photo viewer. and from default apps choose photo viewer as default app
