So, patching is not working for me on Win 10. Some of the latest patches have casued my computer to crash when I open WLM 2012. I took these patches from Windows Essentials and so far, nothing I tried worked (restarting, repatching, etc.).

so patching is not for you on win 10, no problem
you can remove last package from windows update history
go to Setting–>Update and Security–>windows update–>upeate
history select the pactch you installed that creating problem and click on unistall.
if system not booting then you will have to start system in safe mode
