Hi. I have Lenovo Idea pad on which I recently installed Windows 10 OS. Since then, every 3 minutes of inactivity, the pad would go inactive. I dabbled with settings and tried numerous timing frames, to no avail. Can someone pinpoint the issue for me since I saw none so far?
try to uninstall touchpad driver and utility from control panel, boot PC on clear boot>in run windows type msconfig, services and disable all services except microsoft services, and is strartup disable all softs, restart your PC and download driver from official site and install.
update all drivers from device manager
restart your PC

I suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter and check if it resolves the issue.
- Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
- Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.
- Click on View all on the left navigation pane. Click on Power.
- Click on Advanced on the power troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
- Click on Next and follow on screen instruction complete the Power troubleshooter.
