Misconfigured public folder mailbox

If someone would help me out, I would be eternally grateful! I am getting errors on “misconfigured public folder mailbox”. This prevents me from receiving emails on a public folder I keep open. So far, I checked item permissions in PowerShell. Should I look elsewhere as well, as it seems my issue was still not resolved after I fixed permissions there?

Based on my assumption, the issue might be related to the domain of the PF mailbox has been set to “Authoritative”. Directory Based Edge Blocking (DBEB) allows any SMTP address that has been added to the service, except for mail-enabled public folders. And the possible solution should be to change “Authoritative” to be “Internal Relay”
