OneDrive for Business Error: 0X80004005, we couldn't sync this library

Hi,

We have a group of user who sync a group SharePoint library. When I configure the library in a new user system I am getting the below error. There is no changes happen recently and OneDrive sync is working properly for all the other users in that group this error appear only for this specific user.

To remediate this issue, you need to reduce the number of lookup columns in the affected SharePoint Online list, and then try to synchronize the library. Do this until the error is no longer triggered.

To delete a column, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the affected SharePoint Online list.
  2. Click the LIBRARY tab on the SharePoint ribbon, and then click Library Settings .
  3. In the list of columns, click the name of the column that you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete at the bottom of the Edit Column page, and then click OK .
