Randomly CAPS-lock turns on

I’m using utilizing a terminal server RDP connection.

At random for no reason. The caps lock will lose synch with the RDP session resulting in MESSed UP TYPING ANd incorrect passwords.

I set in my way of using the CAPS-lock key to make capital letters as opposed to using the shift key. I thought maybe it was the user inadvertently leaving it on and him just assuming that it randomly turned itself on.

However, I was doing some desk side maintenance on m 1 user device and he noticed it doing to him. To him it isn’t a big deal, just minimize the RDP session resynch it and go from there. To me, a minor IT related annoyance is a big deal.

Interestingly, this only occurred when he upgraded my local machine to windows 10. He though ok, maybe it’s the keyboard driver. Removed, reinstalled, deleted, replaced all did not affect. Then he thought well maybe it’s coincidence. So he replaced my Keyboard. Still no effect.

This is HP ProBook 650 G@. All updates complete.
