Segmentation faults or kernel panic on Xorg

I’ve been experiencing segmentation faults or kernel panic when trying to start desktop in an older PC, and messages seem to point at Xorg.I can use OpenBox with CrunchBang++, SlackoPuppy 6.3.2 and TinyCoreLinux (x86). I can use different wms with Tiny Core. Can’t start any Ubuntu-based distro. LSHW says my computer has 64bits core and 32 bits width (not really sure what that means). I tried with 64 and 32 versions. Any guidance for this issue?
