I tried to install a new SSD by Internet Recovery on a Mac which had Kernel issues (won’t boot the OS) but when I start Internet Recovery it immediately shows 0 or 2 million something minutes remaining, and after a while, I get the prompt “can’t download the additional components needed to install OS X”. I’ve tried erasing the SSD with a new format, took out 1 RAM (saw on a forum that you can’t have more than 4GB), and the internet is fine. Any help with this one?
