Unable to delete messages from Exchange user mailboxes

I am unable to delete messages from Exchange user mailboxes at the moment. I used to do it with Search-Mailbox PowerShell Command, targeting subfolders mail and now, it returns “Error: Cannot perform the action.” I’m using Win10 OS, Office 365.
