I tried to update Win 10 and then restart the computer. However, once I restarted the PC, Win manager tells me update failed and nothing was installed. It happens on cumulative updates a lot with me, so can someone tell me how to fix them??

you might try a manual update from microsoft source by using edge

Try to run Windows update troubleshooter which can solve most of the problems. Give it a sometimes it will resolve automatically after a few restarts.
Find on which updates you have issues and try to manually download it from microsoft site and install
