USB 3.0 does not work

It seems that my USB 3.0 is doomed to never work again  I need help with USB connectors, as even ASUS driver reinstall did not work. Problem persisted in Win 8 and even now, in Windows 10. It’s laptop ASUS G55VW (ROG series) with chipset HM77 Ivy Bridge. Is there a solution to this, any way to get USB 3.0 working?

Restart your PC and go to BIOS settings and check if USB 3.0 port is enabled

Good advice from zura.
Have you swapped the cable? Intermittant faults are tricky to track down.

you can check usb 3.0 with another pendrive/flash drive
may be your pen drive is not working properly.
or you can go to bios setup while restart the system and check default setting of bios.

Hi @Elis

  1. Reinstall the USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) . Driver
  2. Disable USB 3.0/3.1 eXtensible Host Controller
if it’s not working still it may be a hardware related issues.

install the controllers of usb corresponding to windows even better connection drivers for mobile tablet etc, of last resort try bootable usb for windows installation and place pc boot order in bootable USB
