Hello. I activated SSL certificate via Cloudflare on my site. And then I generated XML Sitemap. Will XML cause some kind of errors if the connection changes to HTTPS (from HTTP), and is SSL appropriate for Sitemaps?
Keep in mind that when an SSL certificate is issued, data about it is published to the Certificate Transparency Log, which is publicly available and searchable. So if you issue a new certificate for your domain (to be used by the origin host) it gets published and can easily be found and the new hostname revealed.
