Windows 10 Nvidia installation error after hardware change

I upgrade hardware in my system which has Windows 10 1809 version installed on it. Now I am not able to install Nvidia driver software for my Graphic card.

I let the Windows Update to attempt the driver download and install GPU drivers in the background but Windows update also fails to installed the driver. When I restart the device windows again download the driver update and install it after it went to restart required and when i do the restart nothing happens again the windows download the update it has been in look for the last 2 days. I am seeing the same behavior after 5 system restart.

When I attempt to install NVIDIA driver at the same time, there’s I am getting the below installation failed error.

nvidia-installer-failed-2

When I google this error code I got this as a response incorrect driver for the respective GPU may cause this the error which elements of the driver package failed during the installation

Hello

first uninstall Nvidia driver and then Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced System Settings, Hardware tab, Device Installation Settings, then make sure you have “No, let me choose what to do” and “Never install driver software from Windows Update” selected.

then download driver from official site and try to install it

Hello @logan5
As suggested by @zura1994 you download latest driver and install the driver.
