Hello, all
I have a domain made up of x2 DC’s, a file server and a few other member servers in a cluster environment; all of which are on Server 2016.
I’m experiencing an issue where client Windows 10 PC’s (1803 - 1809) are not able to apply updates. They download and install fine but during the reboot - it undoes all changes and rolls it back. Nothing in history tells us anything useful.
Nothing new you might think but this when it gets odd. if you remove the PC from the domain, updates apply just fine. You then re-add it and off you ago; until next time of course. As far as we can tell we cannot see any GP being applied that would cause this.
Secondly, if I create a new PC with no image and just install Windows 10 from a bootable USB, add it to the domain, pop it into an OU with no inheritance; it still does it. The default domain policy has not been interfered with and other than a LightSpeed GP there is nothing else there.
Microsoft has been involved and despite making corrections on other areas they’ve not been able to fix it and we can no longer go back to them.
Any ideas on I can solve this issue?
Thanks
