WordPress Featured Image Option not available for New Posts

Hi,

I am new to blogging and all kinds of WordPress things and to be frank, I do not understand coding. This is a new website I am using for blogging. Today I activate a new theme after that I am not able to see the feature Image option on the right side of the page. so I am not able to create a featured image. When I’m on other pages, it does show the click and drag box.

Further, on old posts that already have a featured image, I am given the option to remove the current one. But once I do the link disappears to replace it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @MichaelK,

Did you recently change your WordPress theme? Make sure the theme you are using is compatible. If you are unsure, try to activate some other theme which was working fine previously and see if you are able to see the feature image option.
