No doubts Microsoft will be releasing 2 feature updates every year in March and September. But as far as I know not everyone is upgrading their PC to every version of Windows 10 and everyone is after the best version of Windows 10. For example, take me now I am using Windows 10 version 1809 and for my device Windows 10 version 1903, Windows 10 version 1909 and Windows 10 version 2004 are in the queue for installation. But choosing the Windows 10 version 1903 is not going to be effective because Windows 10 version 1903 is going to expire after the 3rd month of Windows 10 version 1809.
Now I have left with 2 Windows 10 version either 1909 or 2004. But How I am going to choose Windows 10 version 1909 or Windows 10 version 2004 is better for my device? In terms of feature, performance, minimal bug what is the strategy to choose the best version of Windows 10 when you have left with so many options?

As per the above table Windows 10 version 2004 is one month old after the public release so Skipping this version is a good idea because it may contain some bugs or compatibility issue which may cause BSOD to your device or any mysterious problems.
Windows 10 version 1903 is released on May 21, 2019 which is one year old so this makes and this reaching the end of service on December 8, 2020. Choosing Windows 10 version 1903 is a proper idea and going forward to the next version is better.
If the version you are using is about to get end of life support then there is much option you have to choice. You will be forced to upgrade to the next or to the latest version of Windows 10. For example if you are using Windows 10 version 1809 then you have the option to choose either Windows 10 version 1903 or Windows 10 version 1909 or Windows 10 version 2004. In this case choosing the Windows 10 version 1909 is the best choice. Because Windows 10 version 1903 is already old and Windows 10 version 2004 is too new could contain any bugs.
